Every program and campaign we run exists because of real, urgent need. In Gaza today, the scale of that need is staggering:

The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) has officially declared a famine in Gaza City, marking it as the fifth region in 14 years to suffer such conditions.

Over 514,000 people in Gaza are facing famine, with projections rising to 641,000 by the end of September 2025.

In August 2025 alone, Gaza's Health Ministry reported 133 deaths due to malnutrition, including 25 children, highlighting the severe impact on the youngest and most vulnerable.

Despite international efforts, only a fraction of the required humanitarian aid is reaching Gaza. For instance, the World Food Programme reports that over 1,800 trucks have been dispatched to Gaza since May 2025, but this is a tiny fraction of what is needed for a population of over 2 million people.

These numbers are heartbreaking, and they're exactly why IHF exists. While the crisis is massive, our response is immediate and real.
